Salvage smarter knowing what you are using is good and will last.
Know how much AC leakage to ground or between coils in your components,
not just that it is leaking.  Test the way OEM does.

Specifications:
Dimensions:
11” x 11” x 4 1/2”
Shipping Wght:  18 lbs.
Power:        110V, 60Hz

•    Test rotors, stators, armatures, insulators, brush holders, field coils, field cases, ungrounded solenoids and solenoid coils.
•    Get audio and visual indication of the amount of leakage at 50, 250, and 500 Volts AC.
    (1000 VAC optional)
•    Get audio and visual indication on arcing.  A buzzer will buzz (pulsating buzzer).  The leakage led will flash rapidly.
•    Test cycle time per test voltage per individual contact:  50 VAC no time limit, 250 VAC five seconds off then auto off, 500 VAC five seconds on then auto off, 1000 VAC (optional) one second on then auto off.
•    High voltage safety test probes and foot switch protect operator.
•    Once the voltage and level of leakage are selected, a beeper will indicate any excess leakage thus eliminating the need to look at the tester to know the condition of the part being tested.
•    Indicate moisture grounds so you can correct them.

Features:
•    Microprocessor controlled so calibration is not necessary.  The machine will self test all circuits in less then 5 seconds.
•    10 LED’s indicate leakage in 1ma stages of leakage at 50, 250 & 500 VAC, (1000 VAC optional)

Component Functions:
1    Red LED’s numbered from 1 to 10 indicate in 1 ma increments the amount of AC voltage leakage and produces an audible sound based on beeper setting.  If arcing occurs leakage led’s will flash rapidly and a different sounding buzzer will buzz.
2    Buzzer set switch sets the level of acceptable leakage 1 to 10 ma.  Example:  if the switch is set on 4 and 5 LED’s light and the buzzer will go off indicating excess leakage.
3    Voltage set switch allow you to set the operational voltage of the test, 50, 250 & 500 VAC, (1000 VAC optional)
4    Foot switch applies AC power to the test probes
5    Test Probes provide a safe means of connecting to the component under test
6    AC power switch with light.
