MANUAL STATOR ROPE WEDGER
• This machine is dedicated to one stator
• Tooled per stator ID and slot configuration
Operation:
1 Mount stator stack, align first slot and lock in position
2 Push arm back and stator will index and rope will be inserted into the slot
3 When the arm is pulled forward the rope is tamped into place and cut off
4 Repeat until all slots are filled
Production rate: about 2 seconds per slot, 1 wedge
Options: Rigid stick insulation for cuff and wedge
AUTOMATIC STATOR ROPE WEDGER
Operation:
1 Mount the wound stator into the tooling and lock in place
2 Activate and the rope will feed into the slot, be tamped into place and cut and then be indexed to the next slot.
3 The cycle then starts again.
Production rate: about 1 second per slot
Air: 150 lbs. clean, dry air
Power: 110V, 60Hz, 1 Phase
Tooling is sold separately per your sample, M155-0001-T

Production Rate:
A first time operator can put out 3+ stators per hour for a two layer stator with 17GA wire.
Features:
• Simple Operation. Simply mount and adjust the stator stack location, locate needle,
tighten adjustments and start winding.
• Change Over Time from one stator to the next is one minute
• Tooling Change Time from one stator size to the next is less than 2 minutes.
• Tooling available for 1” to 2”, 2” to 3” & 3” to 4” ID Stators
• Left or Right Hand Operation
• Stator rotates around the needle for tight coil location
• Thompson Rods provide smooth in and out needle movement
• Will handle an 8” OD Wire Spool
• Standard Needle ID is 1/8”
• All necessary tooling is hardened tool steel and polished
Operation:
One hand operates the handle that rotates the stator and the other hand controls the needle location
