• High production machine
• Clamps the case against the pole shoe with approximately
two tons of pressure allowing no pressure on the pole shoe screw itself
• Gives a tight pole shoe every time

• Applications: 37, 40 & 50MT field cases
• For assembly and disassembly
• The case is rotated by pushing the two control arms
Production time: less than one minute per 40MT case
Power: 3HP, 220/440V, 3PH, 60Hz
Operation:
1 Assemble the pole piece and field case
2 Start the pole shoe screws
3 Mount the assembly over the expander
4 Activate
5 The pole piece will be pressed tight against the case
6 With an air impact gun easily tighten the screws, already in place, with no excess load on the threads
Options:
M158-0255 Expander to cover cases up to 8” OD
M158-0255-X Expander to cover cases up to 13” OD
